OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
Leadership Management Australia’s (LMA) unique online learning Occupational Health and Safety
courses allow organisations to equip managers, supervisors and staff with the knowledge and
understanding of a safe workplace environment.
The online courses can be undertaken at a time and
place that suits the individual. Learning is progressive
and allows for immediate application within the
workplace.
An essential component of effective and safe
workplaces is an understanding of the Duty of Care
required.
L.M.A.’s two online courses cover:
- Occupational, Health and Safety (O.H.&S.)
legal requirements
- Planning and implementing safety in the workplace
- Identifying problem areas
- Reporting and recording safety performance
- Participating with other team members to ensure effective management and introduction of O.H.&S. practices
As a result of completing an L.M.A. Occupational,
Health and Safety course participants will be able to:
- Access legislation requirements
- Plan and implement workplace safety requirements
- Contribute to O.H.&S. systems, maintenance and improvement within the organisation
- Facilitate participatory arrangements with other employees
On successful completion of the course the participant will achieve an ANTA
(Australian National Training Authority) competency unit within the Business Services Training
Sector. This can then be used as RPL (Recognised Prior Learning) for other courses.
