Overall I thought the course was great. At times I thought there was a bit much and that I would get overwhelmed, but thanks to the support from my team, my mentor and coach we were able to stay focused and get a good result. I really enjoyed the workshops. I’ll admit that some times I didn’t know where we were going with things, but everything always got tied up nicely at the end.

The course provided an opportunity for valuable collaboration between colleagues who were able to share their experience and ideas. The most rewarding aspect was witnessing the improvement in morale and productivity in my team as I applied the knowledge and tools acquired during the course in the workplace. As a result of this course, I have completed many goals that had been lingering for some time. This included both work and personal goals. One of the most enjoyable aspects was that I was able to use the motivation gained from the course and put that energy towards my work. So it did not feel as though I was doing any extra work, only that the course was helping me find ways to tackle tasks in a systematic way and helped me find ways to look at issues from different angles. The workplace project regarding secondary construction issue has been sitting around for 2 years. Using the course to catapult the issue into the main spotlight was instrumental in getting the project off the ground. As a result, more departments are talking to one another and are aware of their affect on other groups.

Interaction with other members of staff from different departments who in the normal course of your duties you are unlikely to meet was very enjoyable. It presented an opportunity to listen to other people issues and develop a greater understanding of the business as a whole.

The LMA course material is a tool that has a lot of practical application. I felt I got a thorough introduction to these tools during the course but will be able to use these even more effectively with my team beyond this course.

this course has given a different and new found structure in my leadership, where my team benefits from my learnings along with myself, I am well aware this is the start of my journey in developing my leadership and personal skills but I feel I have all the tools its just up to me how I utilise my new found skills all my resources no have individual files for motivation plans, feedback logs, compliments and awards, complaints, training and development plans, skills audit, multiple goal planners which has been instrumental in giving myself structure along with my resources.
