I really enjoyed working with the group of people, some of them I wouldn’t necessarily work with and it was great to get to know them and appreciate where they were coming from and the problems that affect their teams As the course developed I realised that my win win goals might have been quite superficial and I was able to think of better ones and while I didn’t list them, through the process I was able to implement them and have success.

This course taught me how to be a better participant. to listen and think about my answers, to look at situations from a different angle. The course has also changed the way I think about delegation, previously I thought delegation was simply fogging off for to someone else that I was far too busy to complete. However this course has taught me that although delegation of work is partly give work out that I cannot complete but its more about the training and growth of the person who I am delegating this work to. I have also learnt(and practiced) delegating up. Which I never felt comfortable with as I felt like a failure who couldn’t complete their jobs properly. I have since learnt that not only is it ok to delegate up, it is acceptable to do so. I managed to complete a goal that I had been wanting to do for months and months prior to this course. I create a new recruit training schedule for the Contact Centre that runs for 2 weeks that incorporates theory, practical and interactive learning with on the job and live calls with participants bringing questions for discussion etc. I have began working on updating course content, streamlining training sessions. The next step will be reviewing the evaluations. My final goal that will come out of this will be to approach IT and get the training environment set up with various examples of accounts at various stages for participants to practice on. Will be a massive task but I feel I am set up with the skills to take on this challenge!

Thanks to LMA I got the opportunity to learn a lot and have so much more to achieve. The best part that I learnt was to teach and cross train other colleagues if you want an opportunity to grow if you teach others then only you can step up in your role or else you will remind where you are.

The LMA training course has directly impacted my outlook and morale as a leader including my personal growth and development needs. I feel more secure in my position and have noticed an increase in productivity of team members as a result of motivating, educating and delegating tasks to them. I feel that as my confidence increases, so will my ability to implement strategies to resolve any conflict and will further enhance my ability to lead the team to perform better increasing their and my motivation to achieve the goals we set for ourselves.

With the help of this course I was able to identify my inner strengths and weaknesses. I was able to understand which areas of management needs constant review and change of strategies. I also understood that managing and leading people will always portray different challenges as we keep evolving as a team.

Seeing team members respond so well to some of the course techniques was really encouraging for me. The best result was from the streamlining we initiated with some reporting requirements. As a result of focussing some training in our channels they achieved 3 record months of sales.

It is brought a big change in my personal and professional life and to overall personality. I now know my self better and sound more confident in my approach. LMA course was a transition time for me and just by going through that I can see my complete new image .The most enjoyable aspects for me throughout the course were the learning sessions. It was a great fun and a great environment. the achievement of gaols had a great impact to the overall work and the department. It really proved out as the most beneficial part of the course.

I like how the course is structured. starting from DIAS assessment to learn my own strengths and weaknesses, set goals, how to better manage my time and also how to develop team members. This has helped me to become a better leader. Tools such as feedback logs and motivational survey are very useful to get to know each team members’ motivation and also keep track of positive/negative feedback to be used for performance review. the workshops have been great, as we can discuss our experiences/ideas on how to handle certain issues. overall, I love this course and would recommend it. Thanks heaps.

Not only did I learn a lot throughout the course by doing the coursework and mentoring sessions, but I learnt a lot through the interactions in the workshops with my fellow course participants. We all work in different roles throughout the business and it was interesting to see how others interpreted and applied some of the tools and techniques to improve their daily work within their teams.

The Timesheet analysis was an eye opener on how I spend my day, and how I could do better. I have now learnt how to delegate my non HPA activities to the team, so that I could concentrate doing more meaningful activities. I am less stressed at work, and I feel that I have achieved more in a day compared to prior attending this course.

LMA has helped me understanding my HPA’S. LMA has also assisted me in being able to provide effective direction on myself and my team members and manage them effectively. I was also able to understand that upward delegation is not going to leave bad image of you in front of Management. Understanding stress surveys for employee.

I enjoyed sharing the journey with the others on this course and listening to their experiences. I was then also able to share these experiences with my team members, allowing them to contribute and participate and just be involved with discussions and decision making that gave them a feeling of staff empowerment and motivation. The best take out I got was being able to ‘set the expectation’ at the start and be clear with my instructions. Also around the Upward delegation; being able to give feedback to my peers as well as upwards to keep the communication open and honest.

LMA has helped me think outside the square and maintain an above the line approach. LMA has also assisted me in being able to provide effective direction on myself and my team members and manage them effectively. I was also able to gain an understanding of my HPAs and how to manage my work load and what tasks I should think about delegating to allow me focus on these HPAs and give my team members opportunities to develop themselves.
