The most enjoyable aspects of the course for me were being able to identify the importance of setting goals and targets and working as a team to successfully complete them. Using some of the LMA functions like HPA’s and the 3d’s, we as a team were able to identify some tasks and delegate them to other team members, giving them the opportunity to learn and take responsibility in our day to day duties. It also gave me more time to concentrate on my HPA’s and complete some goals with the time given. Some of the goals we reached are : sorting out the Inboard kitting area so it is more organized. this has now followed on in the Outboard area under the same Goal setting as Inboard and will flow through the complete warehouse. Our recycling of boxes has dramatically dropped due to our supplier saving money by collecting and reusing the boxes several times. Reducing our cost and waste amount.
