With a learning and development background I am always cynical of the benefits that participating in programs can provide. Yes, its great to learn new content, but the reality of applying much or any of it when you return back to the workplace is negligible. After participating in the COL course I am a believer in the LMA Learning Process. Not only did the program introduce me to new content the process allowed me to develop and embed new leadership skills that are not only beneficial to my success in the workplace, but in all aspects of my life.||The most notable successes I had during the course were the establishment of improved work practices around time management against my High Performance Activities. I also established goal setting habits in both my work and personal life. During my time in the course I established a company and engaged my first client.
