I have enjoyed the course and like the simple tools I can use in everyday life e.g. day planner, imperative/important list, recognition sheets, goal setting and delegation of tasks||I have been able to measure my results of my time management because I have been able to complete me ¼ reports on time spend more time on my HPA’s and started planning events for next year. I have not compromised on my daily tasks including assessing clients. I am very busy but I am more productive with my time.|This is a hugh achievement for me because in the past I would have spent many hrs of my time to complete these tasks on my time.||Other achievements through goal setting have been to write up 3 office procedures. This was to provide clear direction to the team in completing their roles. With having office procedures I could also delegate tasks to other team members. Today I have completed 5 procedures and working on 3 others. The team feel happy and confident when carrying out their roles. One team member has said that they felt like they were part of the solution and not the problem. They also like the extra duties and the responsibility that come with the extra duties.||I have introduced team meetings and individual supervision for the team. This has allowed them to provide input into the department and in particular with the development of the office procedures.|It also provides the team with an opportunity to discuss any issues they may have including training opportunities. They also receive recognition for their achievements. ||Another goal was to build on my networks. Over the last 6 months I have also worked on this goal and have developed 3 partnerships with 10 other organisations including Centrelink, Housing NSW Liverpool and Fairfield Council. I have developed a referral process where Salvation Army, Inspire, Anglicare and Vinnies are working together. Vinnies may assist a client of Salvation Army with furniture and Sally’s may assist one of Vinnie’s clients with white goods. This type of partnership has never been done in the Liverpool Region before.|I am very proud of my achievements to date and also my team who have come along on this journey with me
