Being able to explain to staff why actions are taken that may not be beneficial to them individually or the department time-wise but lessens the impact throughout the company. Creating a safe & better working environment for my staff. Seeing staff members take ownership and grow in knowledge, responsibility & creativity. Being able to delegate! Letting staff know that when my door is shut its because I am hard at work and need to avoid distractions – not that there’s something wrong. Being able to create KPI’s so we can measure mistakes, discuss, resolve, move forward and see the results.
