The most enjoyable aspects of the course would include interacting with other participants and sharing in their knowledge and experiences, using the tools we’ve learnt in a practical environment and monitoring there progress. Using the tools we’ve learnt have also rubbed off on my peers and have changed there work habits for the positive. Working towards Win-Win goals gives you a clear focus and can challenge the way you would normally do things, thinking outside the square to give you the slight edge.

I think the most enjoyable part of the course is the laidback in class discussions during the workshops. My calculated return on investment was about $84,000 from the workshop project and increased efficiency within my role. I was also promoted during the course and I believe the course developed me to a point where I’m have the skills to further myself in the future.

The most enjoyable aspect of the LMA course was seeing the development in my own personal skills and seeing the effect this has on the performance of my team. By helping them improve themselves I find myself working more efficiently and have more time spare to focus on other areas of the business. Utilizing some of the ideas learnt from the course we have identified which areas our staff need to work on and developed a plan to train them.

I really enjoyed the format of the course. It allowed me to learn and understand some of my short comings but also taught me to notice little things that can have a huge impact on my day to day operation if left unnoticed. I was able to see the change in my leadership style (for the better) but also seeing the benefits of having better stability in my team and obviously the results I get for having that. I do believe I am a better manager having gone through this course but there are always room for continuous improvements. Not only business reasons but able to set S.M.A.R.T. goals have certainly helped the personal side of my life to achieve the goals in life that I want to achieve.

The most enjoyable aspects of this course would have to be the new management skills I have acquired and the whole above the line thinking process. Once I had identified my worth per hour and identified my true hpa’s and acquired new delegation skills it changed my whole daily routine for the better. There where definite measurable increases in my departments Profit, savings and efficiency. I accomplished 3 of my goals and will change the strategy of the one I didn’t. The whole process of setting smart goals is a life changer.

I have enjoyed analysing my own ability by the way of breaking down all the components that contribute towards being an effective manager. Certain elements from the course resonated the most particularly those which I feel I need further development with. Understanding time management & developing HPA’s has been the most difficult for me to grasp & is a continuous area of focus for me. Effective delegation is also another focus area which I feel will allow me to take the next step towards being a well rounded manager. The learning environment & ability to interact with others with similar issue as mine, assisted me learning the course content. It also allowed us to elaborate on implementation & prior experience in the field.
