Most enjoyable aspect of the course was that it was very practical and directly relevant to my present position and development need. The learning method behind each module with repetition, questionnaires, case studies and template tools reinforced the learning. Overall the main result is that I am now more productive and efficient in my current role with an enhanced work/life balance. There are a number of tools/ takeaways from this programme that I will endeavour to use on a daily basis these include; managing the environment, imperative/important lists, delegation plans, “Tell me about it” conversations, Neat meetings, decision making template, training plans and with when problems arise I will listen more and discuss issues and behaviours, The two key messages that I will take from this course are that firstly power is earned from your behaviour and actions and secondly successful managers manage their work environment and not the daily routine.
